From the heart of Aleppo, the story of Ahmad Badeh unfolds—a media professional and director who overcame challenges and obstacles to carve a place for himself in the Arab and global media scene. With a heart full of passion and determination, Ahmad embarked on his journey, starting as a journalist at “Al-Doumari” newspaper in Syria from 2000 to 2002. Those early years laid a solid foundation for his career, where he honed his journalistic skills and gained valuable experience. He then continued his pursuit of excellence, working as a freelance editor for Jordan’s “Al-Rai” newspaper and as a journalist for Jordan’s “Al-Mashahir” newspaper, adding further expertise to his portfolio.
In 2006, Ahmad returned to his homeland, Syria, where he took on the role of media manager for the Emirati satellite channel “Deira TV.” Despite the challenges, he proved himself as a distinguished administrative manager and host of several industrial programs that received widespread acclaim. It was a year filled with achievements, but his passion for media work drove him to accomplish even more. In 2007, he assumed the position of Assistant Secretary General and Media Officer for the “Arab Innovators and Pioneers Festival,” organized under the patronage of the Arab League. This role highlighted his pride in his identity and media work amidst rich and diverse cultural settings.
Despite his busy schedule, Ahmad never stopped striving for the best. At the same time, he served as the Regional Manager for “Ras Al Khaimah TV” and hosted a program on Syria’s “Al-Dunya TV” in 2010, where he skillfully balanced his various roles.
In 2011, Ahmad made the decision to move to Dubai, where he found new opportunities. He joined the “Decision Makers TV” channel as a producer, presenting a weekly program that shed light on the development of Arab industries, allowing him to continue spreading his purposeful media vision. Two years later, he worked with “Fujairah TV,” where he continued to present programs focusing on Arab innovations, further cementing his status as a creative professional in the field.
In a bold move in 2014, Ahmad founded his own media company in Sweden, channeling his extensive experience into producing programs broadcasted on “Sharjah TV” and one of the “bein” channels in Qatar. He was honored in Sweden as one of the “New Builders,” a recognition of his contributions and efforts in enriching the media community.
Despite his successes, Ahmad has never forgotten his roots. His latest work was a remarkable production for the song “Erjaaile” by Syrian singer Yanal Taher. Not only did he produce the song, but he also wrote its lyrics and directed the music video using a modern technique that blended real graphics with 3D animation. Ahmad brought together over 15 musicians from different parts of the world to play an Arabic melody, from China to Argentina and from Italy to Pakistan, in an effort to unite cultures and sounds. This experience symbolized a message of peace and unity, adding a profound human dimension to the project.
Although his four books on media management and media marketing remain in Aleppo after he left Syria due to the crisis, Ahmad continues to hold onto his memories and move forward with his journey, carrying his passion and dreams with him. Ahmad Badeh’s story is one of success and inspiration, proving that with determination, anything is possible
